Position Summary:
As the Marketing Communications Manager, you will provide marketing communications, social media and branding support for Cleveland-Cliffs’ communications, marketing and partnership efforts. As a member of the corporate communications team, you will manage multiple projects in this role and will be expected to deliver projects within budget. The ideal candidate has a strategic approach to communications and strong project management skills. This person will have responsibility for planning, coordinating and implementing marketing communication projects according to corporate branding guidelines, in support of corporate strategies and communications goals.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Implement marketing/communication strategies in support of business goals and undertaking multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities include leading efforts for digital communications and social media programs. Support company’s virtual town hall meetings.
Provide tactical creative, communications and marketing support for commercial team, strategic partnerships and special projects.
Collaborate with internal partners to create and manage advertising and marketing collateral and promotions. Consistent company image and positioning; ensuring consistent communication and messaging in all internal and external channels.
Direct the development of promotional materials, trade show deliverables, and collateral materials for existing and new product introductions. Assist with strategic partnership programming.
Write clear and consistent copy for website, product descriptions, fact sheets, case studies, presentations, advertisements, tradeshows and all other marketing collateral.
Assist with managing site photo shoots and video development.
BACKGROUND:
Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or related field
Five (5)+ years marketing and or marketing communications experience of time sensitive communication materials
Exceptional project management skills with strong problem solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are needed to interact with all levels of internal clients and external vendors
Ability to prioritize work, handles multiple tasks simultaneously, set goals and meet deadlines while maintaining flexibility to re-assess and re-prioritize
