Summary

This individual manages and leads members of the Dedicated Service Professional Team. This role is responsible for leading the team to peak effectiveness and efficiency in order to deliver maximum results. In addition, they have accountability for assisting with program administration, including marketing, billing, customer service and process development and maintenance in support of the programs strategic goals.

The ideal candidate strikes a balance of people leadership skills, detail orientation and a thorough understanding of the needs of a distributed salesforce and financial advisory practices.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

* Build and maintain a high-performing team; select, develop, coach, reward and recognize team members.
* Lead and direct team to deliver a positive and supportive work environment and provide training, coaching and personalized development planning to team members. Provide recognition and salary administration, monitor individual performance, give candid and meaningful feedback and confront off target performance with appropriate disciplinary action.
* Support program growth and administration by responding to interested financial FP, onboarding them into the program, establishing billing, conducting audits and gathering voice of customer (VOC).
* Support and sometimes lead the development and implementation of new policies, procedures, systems and processes.
* Lead and direct Business Continuity at the unit level and supports special projects.

Required Job Qualifications

* College degree or equivalent in business experience.
* 0-3 years people leadership experience preferred.
* Strong communication/interpersonal skills with emphasis on customer service, conflict management, teamwork and coaching skills.
* Experience with improving processes and leading change.
* Experience working with or supporting a distributed salesforce and/or financial advisory practices
* Knowledge of Thrivent Financial products
* Systems and project leadership experience desired
* FINRA SIE, Series 6 required or obtained within 90 days of hire/transfer.

* Knowledge of call center or back office operations highly desirable
