Zions Bancorporation is looking for a Contracts Manager to join our Enterprise Contracts team. This position can be located anywhere in the US with travel to our headquarters as needed.

Analyze significant and/or unique contract requirements, special provisions, terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, corporate policies, business unit procedure and communicates results to the team.
Develop negotiation strategy and leads negotiation team on complex contractual issues.
Assist in developing standards for contracts, general language and provisions.
Serve as primary organizational contact for vendor contract negotiations.
Maintain deadlines on deliverables and communicate on an ongoing basis with business partners and internal clients about contractual issues.
Establish and maintain strong business relationships with stakeholders and suppliers including effectively managing contract enquiries, issues, disputes, variations, risks and undertaking negotiations with suppliers as required.
Analyzes new laws, regulations and contract trends for potential impact on business unit goals and objectives.
Provides guidance to internal business and contract teams on corporate goals and objectives relating to contract activity.
Serves as a point of contact for legal, finance and business teams for resolution of contract issues and disputes.
Assists in the development and implementation of new contract policies and processes.
Ensures that contract administration records and documentation such as contract related correspondence, internal customer contact information, contractual changes, status reports and other documents for all projects are maintained.
Responsible to supervise a team of offshore contract professionals.
Helps to lead, train and develop staff.
Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge/Skills

Extensive experience in contract drafting, negotiation, redlining, interpretation, and contract maintenance.
Thorough understanding of business and legal contract terms and contract risk mitigation.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, transactional organization.
Ability to multi-task, advise and interact with all levels of the organization.
Excellent prioritization, analytical, risk management and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Must have excellent problem solving and vendor relationship management skills.
Ability to take initiative and make sound decisions.
Strong management & leadership skills Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

Qualifications:

Law degree or 4 years experience.
4+ years of vendor contract or contract review, negotiation, redlining, evaluation and documentation or other directly related experience or certification.
Supervisory or management experience required.
A combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.
Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) and Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) certification preferred.
SAP Ariba knowledge a plus.
