Summary of major duties:
Role model and deliver exceptional customer service
Demonstrate Hershey Behaviors through motivation, inspiration, education, and communication
Conduct training for all employees in a specific location on proper processes and service standards
Coordinate ongoing training, productivity, and break schedules for respective areas
Make operational decisions to effectively run a specific location
Support the Senior Assistant Supervisor team with any tasks or operational needs
Maintain merchandising standard and acceptable inventory levels in specific areas
Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required to successfully perform major duties/responsibilities:
Must be able to operate a cash register
Must maintain a neat appearance and meet the uniform standards
Must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 25-50 pounds
Must be able to walk or stand for up to 8 hours
This role requires repetitive motion of the hands, fingers, and wrists when operating the cash register and stocking shelves
Must be able to work at a fast pace and remain focused, accurate, and efficient
Overhead lifting may be required
Basic Microsoft computer skills
Ability to collaborate across the organization with other departments
Ability to organize and handle multiple tasks
Problem solving skills
Time management skills through a sense of urgency, delegation, ability to prioritize tasks/projects, and empowerment to problem solve
Must have basic addition and subtraction mathematical skills
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is required
Experience: 1 year of customer service and relevant experience in merchandising/retail is required
