POSITION SUMMARY:

The Program Manager (PM) is the company representative for all contractual issues and is responsible for complete program management.

Responsibilities

MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES:

The PM will have total responsibility of the GPMS Program and full authority to act for Amentum for all matters related to the contract, to include negotiating agreements with the Government. The PM serves as the single interface between the Government program office and Contractor and shall implement and manage GPMS operations and plans in accordance with (IAW) applicable directives ensuring personnel, resources, training, contingencies, site management, and employment meet the requirements as specified by the contract.

The PM will set and lead the management functions for every aspect of the organization to ensure standardized processes and controls. The PM is to be available within two hours of notification during normal business hours, 0800 to 1700 Eastern Time Zone, to meet telephonically with the Government to discuss contract issues. Responsible for all program activities and personnel on the GPMS contract. Collects data, analyzes trends, and provides reports to USAF leadership for GPMS activities. 

MATERIAL & EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED:

Laptop computer, printer, network equipment, and other general office equipment

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

Work is predominately performed in standard office space.

International travel could be required.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:

Work may require light lifting, stooping, climbing, standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents.

Minimum Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.

Undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university

U.S. citizenship is required

Active Secret Clearance 

Experience:

Must have 10 years of management experience in related type programs. A minimum of 14 years of management experience in related type programs is acceptable in lieu of an undergraduate degree. Manages and controls all activities within the project including: manpower planning, budgets, activities of the technical departments, environmental protection and occupational health and safety, and Quality. This position is required to coordinate regularly with Corporate HQ to provide updates and reporting functions as necessary.
Must have demonstrated experience managing a large multinational workforce that is geographically dispersed.
Must have and maintain a valid US Secret security clearance.
Logistics Feasibility Assessment Capability (LOGFAC) course desired.
