SUMMARY: The Senior Tech Support Engineer’s primary job function is to focus supporting both production and infrastructure environments. You will assist in defining, documenting, and deploying engineering standards and procedures for the IT department.

The Senior Tech Support Engineer is required to develop project plans, including the following activities:

· Identifying specific goals

· Creating strategies

· Developing contingencies

· Resource requirements for multiple projects

ESSENTIAL JOB SKILLS/ABILITIES:

· Develop a complete understanding of our LAN/WAN, servers, security, client base and technology.

· Ability to troubleshoot and support Windows 7, 10 and macOS

· Ability to configure, deploy and troubleshoot network printers

· Demonstrate proficiency with Active Directory, disk imaging, MFA, Office365, patch management, disk encryption, asset tracking and remote software tools (RDP, VNC, etc.)

· Develop a complete understanding of current IT policies and processes.

· Interface with customers and provide engineering solutions to their problems and support the development of bids and proposals.

· Experience writing customized scripts and automating preferred

· Excellent organizational, customer relationship, verbal, and written communication skills

· Facilitate communication between operations and business customers to ensure superior service and support.

· Candidate must possess previous experience in monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining servers and storage solutions to ensure efficient operations.

· Responsible for participating in a rotating 7x24 on-call support of Network Operations Center servers and infrastructure.

· Limited annual travel

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

· Bachelor’s degree preferred or comparable work experience.
