Role Description

The Manager, Corporate Analysis is the financial manager assigned to support of corporate financial planning and analysis processes. This role manages a small team of financial analysts to collectively provide decision support through financial modeling and process execution for corporate strategic and drives functional excellence for strategic quantification process and foundational financial analysis.

Responsibilities

 

Supervision and development of “Pool” financial analysts
Coordination and facilitation of peer reviews and post-completion assessments
Maintain timely reviews and completions
Ensure corporate tracking and reporting is current
Facilitate information flow to Board of Directors via CFO.
Coordination and facilitation of the Analysis Skills Council
Enhance tools and techniques throughout the global FA/FM population
Coordination and facilitation of the annual Strategic Quantification process in collaboration with Corporate Strategy
Internship coordination and recruiting for entry level FA’s
Drives process excellence through participation and project leadership in Finance productivity projects and other divisional initiatives.

Qualifications

 

Accounting/Finance and/or MBA degree required
8-12 years of financial analysis and managerial experience
Application of financial acumen in decision support for specific business unit planning and performance
Long term forecasting and strategic modeling
Comprehensive understanding of accounting and discounted cash flow modeling and other financial analysis techniques
Synthesis of inputs into clear recommendations and defensible positions
Strong advisory and  influence capabilities
Ability to develop trust-based relationships internally, externally, and with senior leaders
Solid  problem solving and resolution techniques
Direct supervision and team development
Project leadership
