Position Summary
The purpose of this position is to support all areas of NGL for supplier and customer master data maintenance. In addition, provide support in other areas of the department including, but not limited to Workday Expense, PNC P-Card, 1099, cash forecast, and unclaimed property tasks. This position can sit in Denver, CO or in Tulsa, OK at our corporate offices.
General Duties and Responsibilities
Review supplier and customer maintenance requests for appropriate support prior to processing the request into Oracle Cloud or RightAngle.
Clarify requests from requesters as needed to ensure accurate processing.
Accurately process supplier and customer setups and maintenance per department policies and procedures including SOX controls, both key and other controls.
Work professionally and proactively with NGL’s business segment leaders regarding their business needs, while enforcing Master Data Maintenance department standards.
Contact supplier and customers to verify banking information, banking change information, and address changes per SOX controls and departmental procedures.
Prepare credit applications when NGL is applying for credit.
Develop and maintain successful and positive relationships with internal departments as well as external suppliers.
Provide support in other areas of the department including, but not limited to Workday Expense, PNC P-Card, 1099, cash forecast, and unclaimed property tasks.
Assist with ERP and operational system enhancements, upgrades, or migrations, including user testing, as requested by the management team.
Assist management team in identifying and implementing system and process improvement opportunities where efficiencies and accuracy of data can be gained.
Assist management with developing and maintaining departmental procedures and policies.
Assist with training new employees and co-workers as directed by management team.
Assist management team with more complex projects including but not limited to vendor account cleanup, identifying root causes to issues, etc.
Assist in fulfilling audit request by internal and external auditors.
Other duties and projects as assigned according to business necessity.
Regular attendance at the worksite is required.
Position Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook is required. Advanced Excel is preferred.
Must be comfortable with system processes.
Must have the ability to successfully research and resolve issues, from both a system and accounting perspective.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
A self-starter with the ability to be logical and objective.
Flexible and adaptable to change, with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines in a fast-paced office environment.

Experience/Education:
Minimum of 3 years of AP experience is required; experience in the energy industry is preferred.
Associates degree is preferred.
Microsoft Excel experience is crucial for this position – advanced knowledge is preferred.
Knowledge of entity reporting.
Current Oracle 11i Payable or ERP experience is preferred.
Experience with Perceptive or similar content and process management platform.
General ledger experience is a plus.

NGL Energy Partners LP, together with its subsidiaries, engages in the crude oil logistics, water solutions, liquids, retail propane, and refined products and renewables businesses. The Refined Products and Renewables segment markets gasoline, diesel, ethanol, and biodiesel products; and purchase and delivers refined petroleum and renewable products. This segment also purchases and markets unfinished gasoline blending components for subsequent blending into finished gasoline for third parties.
