We are looking for a talented Senior Financial Analyst to join our team specializing in Finance for our Corporate Business Unit in Columbus, IN / your remote home office.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Prepares complex financial analyses and reports for management.
Business partners with organizational units to develop annual budgets, forecasts, and statistical reporting.
Prepares and consolidates financial data, including financial performance, variance explanations, and cost analysis.
Analyzes, records and reports accounting transactions in a timely manner.
Prepares general ledger entries and account reconciliations.
Analyzes current procedures and recommends changes to develop and implement best practice accounting procedures.
Coaches or leads less-experienced Financial Analysts.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
A Bachelor’s Degree is required with preference focused on accounting, finance or a related field.
3 years of related professional experience.
Experience evaluating US accounting standards to record transactions in compliance with requirements and company policies.
Experience utilizing financial forecast data to provide forward looking projections to facilitate decision making
Experience interpreting financial data by analyzing trends, variances, opportunities and risks to provide insight to stakeholders regarding financial impacts
Experience collaborating with stakeholders and develops partnerships to drive performance that aligns to organizational goals and strategies
