Principle Responsibilities:
Responsible for the health, safety and Environmental performance of all TRC maintenance personnel and contractors. This includes compliance to all federal/State laws and TRC Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.
Serves as the maintenance program leader to maintain and ensure safe and reliable operation of refinery related equipment.
Create, implement and manage work processes, and ensure that systems are in place to improve performance, help lower risks in the workplace, and drive maintenance strategies to “best in class” performance.
Effectively plan, schedule, and execute routine and outage work to maximize utilization of internal resources, contractors, equipment and minimize impact on refinery operations.
Responsible for driving continuous improvement through the use of established performance metrics (PM compliance, schedule compliance, productivity, planning accuracy, break in work orders, backlog, etc.)
Responsible for ensuring that performed work is free of defects. This includes development/implementation of maintenance best practices.
Work with Operations to properly identify/prioritize work notifications and manage/reduce work order backlog.
Job Qualifications:
10+ years of maintenance experience in petroleum or chemical manufacturing plant, including a minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience required.
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or similar preferred but not required with appropriate experience.
Demonstrated strong leadership skills.
Ability to effectively communicate with personnel and vendors at all organizational levels (both verbal and written). .
Ability to foster teamwork.
Highly developed planning and organizational skills.
Demonstrate good methodical decision-making during problem solving.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a changing environment to meet customer and business needs.
Willingness to respond 24/7 to unscheduled call-ins, holiday or weekends.
