Based in our SIDNEY location, you will lead various aspects of cash management and control. This individual will also coordinate the procurement card program and perform other finance-related activities as needed.
AS A FINANCE SPECIALIST, YOU WILL:
Manage various aspects of cash management and control
Intercompany debt balancing and reconciliation
Process monthly tax payments
Perform cash transaction activities such as initiating wire transfers, processing manual checks, and depositing manual checks received
Review and monitor all such cash transactions to ensure all company cash control requirements are being followed
Lead monthly intercompany netting activities and will record cash/bank-related journal entries
Coordinate procurement card programs and perform payroll support as needed
Support other finance activities as needed
WHO YOU ARE:
Are you an accounting specialist looking for a new opportunity? If so, this may be the position for you! We are looking for someone who is comfortable implementing standards of control over cash and cash payment while communicating effectively with internal and external customers. You would work cooperatively with those inside and outside of finance to ensure individual objectives and company objectives are achieved timely and accurately.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
High School Diploma and 2+ years of work experience in an accounting, finance, or cash management-related field
MS Excel skills using data downloads, macros, and pivot tables
Strong communication and partnership skills with ability to work independently
Ability to meet goals and balance multiple priorities
Basic knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this role.
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Associates Degree in accounting or finance preferred.
