Job Purpose:

Supply Chain Management Services (SCMS) is a part of TD SYNNEX’s Global Lifecycle Management (GLM) services division. SCMS provides fee-for-service 3PL and Fulfillment services to Technology OEMs in the Americas, Europe and Asia. Reporting into the SCMS leadership team, the Sr. Freight Analyst will strive to become the resident expert on SCMS’s freight portfolio. The Sr. Freight Analyst will develop and report on transportation performance and KPIs to TD SYNNEX leadership and SCMS clients. Leveraging industry knowledge, best practice and an in-depth knowledge of the SCMS freight portfolio, the Sr. Freight Analyst will actively pursue strategies to improve performance, reduce cost and increase customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Develop in-depth familiarity with an assigned portfolio of Supply Chain Management Services transportation clients

Manage the interface between the customers' transportation personnel and TD Synnex.

Create detailed reporting and KPI reporting to measure, monitor and improve carrier and cost performance.

Identify, justify, and present continuous improvement opportunities for increasing efficiency, reducing costs, and improving service.

Work and interface closely with various departments including Distribution, Loss Prevention, S&OP, Procurement, Transportation and Supply Chain Management Services to optimize transportation strategies.

Assist in transportation projects that drive value for the business.

Provide root cause analysis on vital metrics (KPI) trends in areas such as service and cost.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

>5 to 8 Years of relevant work experience is required.

Required Education: Bachelor's Degree

Able to use common office equipment.

Able to demonstrate complex problem solving, critical thinking, and decision-making.

Able to recognize and attend to important details with accuracy and efficiency.

Able to create and conduct formal presentations.

Able to interact effectively with higher levels of management (managers & above)

Able to communicate clearly and convey necessary information.

Possesses strong organizational and time management skills, driving tasks to completion.

Able to work independently with minimum supervision.

Able to collaborate and build solid, effective working relationships with others.

Able to use relevant computer systems and applications at an intermediate level.
