Responsibilities:
Cover important earnings conference calls, legislative and regulatory meetings
Analyze important deals and company developments
Develop your beat in collaboration with fellow Insurance reporters and our Data Journalism team
Engage with sources across the industry and work with our Data Journalists to write compelling articles
Attend and cover conferences and events virtually and in person
Establish relationships with sources, analysts and industry experts
What We’re Looking For:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (Journalism or related field preferred)
At least three years of journalism experience
Outstanding writing skills
Openness to editorial feedback
Desire to pursue and own your own beat
Collaborative attitude and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in business journalism
Background covering financial news, especially in the insurance space
