Position Summary

The Pricing Manager will integrate information from multiple data sources, provide key pricing insights, and communicate clear and actionable recommendations to drive growth and profitability of our brands. The manager fully understands the impact of pricing on profit margins.  The pricing manager conducts a variety of analyses to develop pricing strategies, support development and valuation of annual price plans, monitor price effectiveness, and report impact of market level price changes to management.  The Pricing Manager critically analyzes both frontline and promoted pricing.  The position plays a critical leadership role in building new RGM capability, developing new methodologies, and processes.  The position requires a high level of collaboration with internal and external business partners.

Responsibilities

Influence decisions by providing advanced level of pricing analysis to support internal business partners.
Using a fact-based approach, lead the identification of issues and opportunities across key markets, brands, and packages and communicate them in a clear and concise fashion.
Provide leadership and support in the development and analysis of annual price plans, the development of new pricing models, tools, and reports, and the development of pricing strategies.
Ensure pricing is aligned with business objectives through evaluation of strategies. 
Analyze impact of pricing actions on brewer, distributor, and retailer to optimize price performance.
Lead analyses of pricing and sales performance utilizing internal and syndicated data.
Prepare presentations to support major pricing meetings and monthly pricing reviews.
Participate in price training, development opportunities, and activities related to Revenue Management functions. 
Manage pricing analyst(s), provide expertise and guidance to other team members, coordinate resources. 
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as needed.

Reporting Relationship

Reports directly to the Director, Sr. Pricing, Revenue Management – Beer

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Predictive Analytics, Economics, Statistics, Accounting, or related field; MBA a plus
7-12 years of work experience in relevant position(s), Alcohol Beverage or CPG Industry experience preferred.  A record of accomplishments and increasing responsibilities.
Requires ability to work independently with minimal guidance.  To lead projects and ensure successful completion from start to finish.
Strong data analysis capabilities required, including Advanced Excel skills (knowledge of data formatting and formulas, filters, pivot tables, macros, etc.).
Significant Experience/Knowledge with data mining and econometric modeling
Possess a demonstrated ability to manage large datasets, interact with business intelligence systems and data visualization platforms such as Tableau/MicroStrategy.
Familiarity with Python, or R is a plus
Strong analytical, decision making, and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with SAP S/4 HANA, and BPC is a Plus
Extensive knowledge/experience working with a variety of data sources including and not limited to, syndicated data (IRI & Nielsen), census data, other.
Highly motivated, results oriented individual who excels in dynamic environment. 
Strong results orientation with ability to consistently meet commitments and deadlines for him/herself and those of his/her team.  High levels of energy and resiliency.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities and make ongoing decisions.  Proven ability to break down complex problems into manageable goals.
Excellent time management, project planning, and organizational skills. 
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including sharing ideas and information across diverse audiences, and producing high-quality deliverables to drive business decisions.
