PayPal is currently looking for a Senior Analyst to join the Global Consumer Marketing Analytics team focused on scaling and optimizing the check-out experience. The role reports to the Lead of Consumer Marketing Analytics and provides relevant exposure to Regional Marketing Leadership team across PayPal's Core Regions. In this role, you will also get exposure to and will be required to work with the Marketing, Product, PMM & Finance teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing data-driven insights on Consumer Marketing franchise, including but not limited to Business casing, Deep dives, Modelling, Campaign Performance readouts and optimization. The person will be responsible for delivering accurate, action-driving recommendations to drive business performance and investment optimization. This is an individual contributor role with potential team leadership requirements on specific projects.

Responsibilities

Lead and perform deep-dive analyses using analytical and statistical tools on very large, complex, multi-dimensional datasets
Lead the engagement with the stakeholders and internal customers. They should also be able to find applicability and actionability to their work, influencing stakeholders to make the most out of the work analytics provides
Manage multiple analytical projects at a time, in a fast-paced, intense, and results-oriented environment
Influence stakeholders to make business decisions in alignment with global measurement approaches
Liaise with Global Analytics teams to become POC for your area. To drive alignment on adoption of Tools, educating stakeholders to rely on them whenever applicable

Requirements

5+ years of Analytics experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business or a related field.
Be an independent thinker, able to work autonomously on projects with complexity both on the technical side and on the business implications side
Be a coach for younger team members, both on technical and non-technical topics
Capacity to influence stakeholders, maintaining the right balance of assertiveness and healthy business relationships
Ability to structure complex problems in simple terms
Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for seeking the truth
Deep knowledge of statistics (multivariate statistics, regression modelling, predictive modelling, controlled test design, time-series modelling)
Strong technical skills: SQL, R, Python, Tableau, Qlik
Fluent in English
