Job Description

Candidate will be responsible for:

Oversight, management and review of government pricing calculations and submissions.
Ensuring that all policies, procedures and processes supporting the Government Price calculations are followed to ensure ongoing compliance with external and internal requirements and guidance including new regulations.
Ensuring compliance with SOX requirements. 
Leading the implementation of system & process improvements across the various calculations and within the integrated Model N system as appropriate as well as providing guidance and oversight to the team for related testing.
Evaluating new and modified commercial price concession programs, perform risk assessments, create operational processes and SOPs, and providing training as appropriate.  
Serving as the subject matter expert on pricing issues within a matrix team which includes a variety of functional areas including but not limited to Legal, Pricing & Economics, Trade, Pricing and Customer Operations, Customer Service Operations, Contract Operations, Managed Care Rebate Operations, Reimbursement and Affordability Program Management, IT, Finance and Compliance regarding matters impacting the government pricing calculations.
Preparing and maintaining of documentation related to Government Price calculation methodology and decisions.  
Monitoring legislation and Pricing & Reimbursement trends and assess strategic and operational implications.
Managing a team of professionals and assisting with the selection, training and development of staff.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance, with a minimum of 15 plus years of relevant government pricing, business operations and/or finance experience. 
The successful candidate must have the ability to successfully manage competing priorities, meet challenging deadlines, and work independently and strategically across matrix organizations to develop a detailed understanding of processes.   
The successful candidate must have a demonstrated track record of strong attention to detail; accountability and ownership of results; flexibility and adaptability in a rapidly changing environment; prior supervisory experience and ability to develop others; and the ability to escalate issues as appropriate. 
Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills are essential as well as an ability to interact and influence with different partners (local or remote).
Proficiency in Model N, Excel and SAP is required.
Experience in the following areas is strongly preferred:  Government Price reporting; Medicaid drug rebate program, Medicare Average Sales Price Reporting and other public sector programs; Accounting or Finance; Audit and business/internal controls; Compliance; Order to Cash and/or Chargeback process; pharmaceutical distribution model and practices; divestitures and acquisitions.
High level of personal accountability and integrity.
