TITLE: Lead DevOps Engineer
DUTIES: DFS Corporate Services LLC seeks Lead DevOps Engineer in Riverwoods, IL to be responsible for the delivery of automated software delivery practices focusing on full automation between the development and production environments. Collaborate with Development, Testing, Architecture, and Infrastructure groups to ensure consistency across the enterprise. Partner with Scrum Teams to implement CI/CD pipelines. Work with infrastructure teams to implement fully automated environments. Implement standard automation patterns based on industry best practices. Provide day to day DevOps support to the Scrum and infrastructure teams. Maintain and monitor CI/CD pipelines. Promote a risk-aware culture to ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Information Systems Engineering and Management, or a related field and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation: working with Software Development Lifecycle principles to identify process improvements and design automation flows; working with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery principles to design automation flows; designing and implementing automation flows utilizing GitHub, Jenkins, and Nexus; implementing build steps and build step integration utilizing Gradle, Cucumber, and JMeter frameworks; utilizing Java to implement automation pipelines; and utilizing programming languages, including Groovy and shell scripting to implement automation pipelines. In the alternative, the employer will accept a master’s degree or foreign equivalent in one of the above listed fields and two (2) years of experience in the above listed skills.
