Position Overview
Navistar Aftersales has an exciting opportunity for a Product Warranty Admin Sr.
The Product Warranty Admin Sr will report to Product Warranty Administration Manager and will process Warranty claims, Prior Approvals, and appeals within U.S. and Canada. Position will interact with Navistar Dealer personnel as well as Navistar Field Service.
This role will also be pivotal in adherence and application of Warranty Policy and Procedure through Warranty Claim processing.
Key Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Processes, reviews, and administers warranty claims
Review and authorize submitted Paint Repair Estimates
Review Warranty Claim appeals generated from claim denials/ short pays
Communicate with Dealer submitting locations as well as Navistar Field Service Personnel on repair/ warranty questions/ issues.
Collaborates with sales and marketing, merchandising, manufacturing, quality, engineering, product development and others to ensure cross-functional communication and resolution of product issues.
Basic Requirements
Bachelor’s degree
At least 2 years of warranty claims experience
OR
Master’s degree
OR
At least 4 years of warranty claims experience
Additional Requirements
Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Navistar does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)
Desired Skills
Service management experience is highly desired.
Technical background-- Maintenance of heavy truck through class 8 or auto or truck repair background, preferred.
Warranty claims processing is a plus.
Computer systems literate, highly desired.
Dealer business system familiar is a plus.
