Job Description

Position Summary:  Work closely with all levels of the organization and is responsible for providing regulatory compliance subject matter expertise and consulting support. Assist clients with implementing, managing and understanding their compliance programs. Perform compliance management task with substantial and comprehensive documentation. Responsible for assessing risk and ensuring the company's standard operating procedures are followed.

Essential functions and responsibilities:

• Coordinates and tracks progress of compliance initiative projects 

• Reviews audits from internal groups to ensure identified risks are being addressed and eliminated

• Prepares and submits weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end reports for management review

• Manages compliance training interface

• Serves as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and primary contact for drug and alcohol testing regulatory and legal support

• Assists with DOT 49CFR Part 40 compliance monitoring and reporting

• Assists with non-DOT Consortium compliance monitoring and reporting

• Performs regulatory and legal reviews

• Develops and track compliance to quality and service standards

• Reviews procedures and recommend efficiencies to leadership

• Proactively evaluates potential problem areas and initiate action to limit negative outcomes

• Provides excellent customer service to DISA internal and external customers

• Drafts business communications and internal notices

• Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications required:

• High School Diploma or GED and three (3) years of customer service experience

• Intermediate level in Microsoft Office Suite

• DISAWorks® system experience

• Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Federal Drug Testing Regulations

• Critical thinking and root cause analysis skills

• Project management skills

• Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to appropriately target communication to intended audience, ranging from leading presentations with all levels of a client’s organization to interactions and meetings with a variety of agency stakeholders

• Must be able to perform well in high-pressure situations

• High level of ownership and accountability
