The Global Commercial Credit (GCC) team vision is to “Provide the world’s best credit and underwriting experience every day”. GCC aims to strike the right balance between helping Commercial clients and customers in need through offering a range of financial advisory services, repayment programs and taking actions to mitigate risk to the company. The GCC Client Financial Solutions team manages portfolio-based workout efforts and serves as a debt recovery team that provides our clients with both short and long term payment solutions.
In this role, you will negotiate payments with Corporations/Businesses that have outstanding past due Corporate accounts with American Express. You will make outbound telephone calls, examine client’s financial situation, resolve queries related to balance and exposure with AmEx, and work to establish a resolution. As a Commercial Workout Analyst, you negotiate tailored solutions by asking probing questions and by reviewing cash flow and financial statements. The Commercial Workout Analyst is responsible for maintaining call quality and productivity and building positive relationships with clients.
2 to 5 years' experience as a commercial collector
Robust understanding of multiple business industries and ability to analyze business financial statements, including cash flow cycles.
Strong active listening skills and the ability to probe for hidden information
Strong organization and time management skills
Experience with Lexis Nexus preferred
Education:
A Bachelor's degree is preferred in a Business-related field (Finance, Economics, and/or Accounting).
