Essential Job Functions
Works with a broad range of process and control owners to develop in-depth business awareness; Identifies risks/exposures through interim and roll-forward testing; Interacts with clients to gain agreement on corrective actions. Serves as Lead Client contact and project manager to drive Business control testing to completion with minimal guidance; Builds detailed knowledge of one or more business process areas, and coordinates with other members of ICFR on projects or under direction of Finance leadership. Indirect hours to support departmental projects and activities, individual development plan, training, performance management, and general administration as assigned.
Assist with the full completion and execution of the SOX and MAR testing plans for assigned areas. This includes ensuring execution/performance of controls testing to assess design and operating effectiveness of Farmers controls in accordance with Group ICFR, SOX, and MAR deadlines.
Implement and exhibit effective project management practices and skills to ensure efficient, timely, and proper management of individual projects.
Ensure Statement of Aggregated Deficiencies (SAD) quality and completion on a real time basis to facilitate timely aggregation and preparation of the annual SAD review documentation/deliverable for final MAR signoff by CFO/CEO in line with external audit expectations and local CFO approvals and committee reporting.
Ensure that Audit/Workpapers, Weekly Status Tracker and System Reconciliation updates are timely, accurate and complete.
Ensure test work quality meets internal, management's and Group QA over testing standards.
Collaborate with Zurich/Group QA in meeting/supporting mandated QA over testing requirements.
Liaison with external and internal audit as required.
Support critical finance/company ad hoc and special projects as assigned (i.e., significant control matter assessments)

Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related business field. Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) designation required..
Experience Requirements
Minimum 4 years of experience in accounting, finance, or auditing with at least three years of experience in testing business controls. Big four or national CPA firm experience preferred.
