Job Description
What you will be doing:
Identify and communicate loan requirements to borrowers
Track and collect mortgage payments required by loan documents
Daily borrower contact by phone and e-mail
Review of new loan set-up
Monitor and process tax disbursements from escrow
Manage escrow accounts including oversight of all escrow analysis
Obtain Lender approval for loan payoffs
Preparation of payoff statements
Assist in the automation of key functions of the servicing department as necessary
Support senior staff for problem loan management and other non-routine matters
Communicate and problem-solve daily with teammates, clients, vendors, and other stakeholders, possibly in combination with travel
Other skills related to building a career in commercial real estate finance!
The education and experience we’re looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics or similar field OR 5 years of relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience with UCC Financing Statements, Tax and Insurance escrow requirements and analysis.
Direct customer service experience in a commercial loan setting.
Familiarity with finance structures and requirements related to Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae and FHA markets a major plus.
