Essential Job Duties
Serves as an office support coordinator for school and community partnerships and assists and facilitates in the planning, organizing, and support of student teaching and clinical placements, conferences, workshops, seminars, and meetings.
This position assists faculty, the Assistant Dean of School and Community Partnerships and the Director of Educational Outreach with coordination of works as it arises.
Provides excellent customer service to students, school and community partners, faculty and staff.
Understands programs and services to apply this knowledge in problem-solving and responding to most questions and inquiries. Uses program knowledge to interface with other offices and organizations.
Assesses and may resolve unprecedented problems that require research and review of policy and procedures. Applies judgment for problem resolutions based on delegated authority from supervisor.
Composes written communication with guidance using standard formats. Composes correspondence involving program or operational procedures independently from general instructions or brief summaries.
Plans and facilitates the support activities of an office or work unit; coordinates with others to complete tasks. May serve as an office coordinator for a work unit.
Other Work Responsibilities
This position supports the placement of clinical, student teaching, and school counseling interns in the Cato College of Education’s Office of School & Community Partnerships.
Departmental Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education
Previous office experience in an education setting is preferred.
Utilizes a variety of technology platforms including Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Banner and other systems as necessary.
Excellent verbal and written skills.
