Manufacturing Test Engineer

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop and implement cost-effective, repeatable and scalable manufacturing processes
Qualify new test platforms, new tester hardware and software revisions before release to production locations and development sites
Qualify complete test cells including various tester and handler combinations considering reliability, serviceability and cost
Establish, document and provide training for operators and technicians on new technologies and process techniques including tester operation, calibration, diagnostics and maintenance
Interface with suppliers to obtain and certify equipment according to manufacturing floor standards
Identify and drive continuous improvement programs to increase productivity, quality, revenues and control costs
Act as liaison between product development teams and manufacturing during the launch of new products and processes
Qualifications:
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing engineering and processes
Excellent problem solving skills
Strong teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a cross functional team
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Project and Excel
ATE experience preferred i.e. Teradyne, Agilent, National Instruments, Roos
High speed RF and semiconductor experience a plus
Position requires a minimum of 3 – 7 years of related experience
