About the Role
The demand team manages our Supply Side Platform and leads the monetization efforts for the global portfolio of Insticator publishers. We offer our suite of direct, code-on-page ad inventory as well as our OKO full stack monetization publishers to our buyers including SSPs, DSPs, and Agency Trading Desks. Insticator is looking for a Programmatic Partnerships Manager to join this growing team. The role will support both sales and ad operations with focus managing existing platform connections, new channel partnerships and private marketplace activity for our Supply Side Platform. This position offers a unique opportunity for an experienced programmatic account manager and yield professional to join an expanding team.
Responsibilities and Duties
Build and maintain relationships with programmatic demand clients including SSPs, DSPs, Agencies and Data clients. Conduct regular calls and develop rapport with all clients.
Develop, package, and sell all programmatic offerings.
Perform regular outreach to all clients for new Deal ID opportunities. Host online and phone pitches and presentations.
Advocate for client needs within Insticator and evangelize Insticator with clients.
Facilitate any custom reporting requests for clients, in collaboration with Yield Analysts.
Conduct quality assurance and continuous optimization of campaign / Deal ID performance and scale.
Successfully troubleshooting client issues in partnership with Ad Operations and Product team, ranging from basic technical issues to using internal reporting to resolve issues. Ensure high client satisfaction.
Manage platform site lists in partnership with the Publisher Development team.
Conduct QBRs with all clients.
In partnership with Ad Operations team, support process to manage all campaigns for direct advertisers and data partners
Ideate and implement processes to develop and improve Programmatic Partnership workflow
Maintain in-depth knowledge of competitive landscape and market trends whilst providing feedback and insight on demand-side needs to the Product team.
Work in collaboration with Product, Account Management and Ad-Operations groups to develop new advertising formats, packages, and other opportunities and introduce these to the market.
Qualifications
Professional Competencies
2-5 years of experience in the ad-tech industry preferably in programmatic sales, management, ad operations or other programmatic positions with a focus on selling and servicing publisher inventory to DSPs and Agencies
Proven track record developing, evangelizing, and signing demand-side programmatic packages including Private Marketplaces, Preferred Deals, Programmatic Guaranteed, and curated marketplaces.
Google Ad Manager experience a must as well as cross-format experience with both video and display.
Understanding of common ad-server implementations, major supply side platforms and programmatic product integrations
Network of agency trading desk / DSP / exchange relationships, direct connection to high value entities (preferred but not required)
Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, goal and target oriented executor
Strong communication skills and familiarity with the media buying jargon
A strong desire to learn and adapt in an ever-changing industry
Self-starter that desires to be a key contributor and strong team player
Fundamental understanding of the programmatic ecosystem, media landscape and the online advertising industry
