Job Overview

Insticator partners with a global portfolio of publishers to help deepen their relationship with their audience through engagement and rich interaction, facilitating loyalty, increasing revenue, and ultimately, aiding growth. Our team is looking for a Director of SMB Sales to build out a separate sales team dedicated to small-medium sized publishers. This position offers a unique opportunity for an experienced publisher sales or business development professional take ownership of a new sales team.


Responsibilities and Duties.

Hire, train and manage a team of Account Executives focused on selling all products to operating fully independently in managing your own business pipeline

As a Player-Coach, you will establish goals for each seller and have some customers of your own. 
Create Onboarding program to include sales script as well as full sales training for these junior sellers. 
Set specific weekly cadence for outreach with each seller. 
Conduct persistent monitoring of outreach and pipeline development. 
Provide weekly updates to VP Sales and Leadership.
Ensure sales updates to pipeline via HubSpot CRM
Host online pitches and presentations
Maintain in-depth knowledge of competitive landscape and market trends whilst providing product feedback
Role requires some travel.


Qualifications.

Professional competencies

3-4 years of experience in the sale of AdTech or other publisher-oriented SaaS products

Have previously managed outbound tele-sales or internal sales teams
Previous experience successfully driving revenue through prospecting, pitching, negotiating, closing, and renewing business
Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, goal and target oriented executor
Understanding of common ad-server implementations and programmatic advertising products a plus
Strong oral and written communication skills
A strong desire to learn and adapt in an ever-changing industry
