DISH Media, the Advertising and Marketing division of DISH Network, provides smart and effective media solutions that complement those of traditional national cable.The team is an innovative, passionate and fun group working hard and finding reward in radically changing TV advertising. We are based out of New York City, with offices in Chicago, Denver and Los Angeles. The Marketing team is the backbone of DISH Media. We work with the largest continuous set-top-box data set in the industry and provide advertisers with a way to deliver addressable advertising at national scale.
Responsibilites:
Leads the brand creative and design strategy for DISH Media, ensuring all work output is in line with brand objectives and guidelines.
Serves as brand expert for how DISH Media and our capabilities are communicated in the marketplace.
Liaises with outside agencies as well as DISH’s internal creative agency, OneTen.
Oversees the planning and creation of all external facing sales materials including annual sales presentation, sales decks, videos, sell sheets, eblasts, thought leadership content and premiums/gifting.
Oversees Graphic Designer, reviewing all work and managing creative vision.
Works with Marketing Lead on maintaining brand presence (design voice) across DISH Media touchpoints including DISH Media website, social platforms, event sponsorships.
Maintains DISH Media sales website including content and design and backend analytics
Work with designer and web team to update web pages and content on rolling basis
Oversee general site design to ensure brand consistency
Track site analytics
Acts as the program expert for the adoption and maintaining of marketing platforms, including Adobe Creative Suite, Brandfolder, Hubspot, Hive project management.
Maintains each of these platforms including ongoing content creation, maintenance and user experience.
Handles relationship with software vendors.
Continually updates Digital Asset Management software as collateral is produced.
Coordinates internal team branding and communication including all team meeting decks, annual strategic offsite, etc.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years experience as a Graphic Designer in a digital media, agency, or brand environment.
Experienced with managing junior contributors
Experience in design and management of web-based platforms
Must be an articulate professional with excellent oral and written communication skills. This position is required to develop original written content and the demonstrated ability to present in high profile group environments.
Must have strong diplomatic and interpersonal skills to foster and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the company while making good, timely decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Strong project management skills to ensure multiple projects with varying timelines, needs, and approvals inputs are completed successfully.
Skills:
Advanced knowledge in the Adobe Suite (mainly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign). Being comfortable with after Effects is also recommended.
Must have an understanding of layout, typography, color theory, as well as other Graphic Design knowledge.
Experience with preflight, proofing, print production, and digital production.
Knowledge of HTML/CSS.
Lite copywriting skills.
Some coding experience.
