This role will have matrix alignment to the Global Technology Organization.
Experience in leading and developing data warehousing applications/ profitability applications in financial and banking domain.
Thorough understanding of key business processes and ability to communicate and translate those needs to technical solutions
Research and solve the data related issues within the environment.
Work closely with business partners, technical resources and management (Application Managers, Business Analysts, System Analysts and Development teams)
Evaluate the risks and solutions before taking action, so that action plans are timely, realistic and positive
Document system process flows and write test scripts for system testing.

Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or
equivalent work experience.
Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in IT industry in the technical field
Working knowledge of writing SQL queries and troubleshoot data related issues.
Flexible in managing competing priorities and objectives.
Ability to work independently as needed
Required Skills:
Linux Red Hat Administration Experience
Oracle Database administration (Exadata knowledge helpful)
Experience with Risk based applications or Peoplesoft helpful
Knowledge of SQL, PL SQL, Unix Shell Scripting, advanced Performance tuning
Understand complex SQL queries, analyse data related issues and identify root cause of issues / defects. Develop and implement performance tuning.
Perform Network tracing
Experience working with enterprise monitoring tools like OEM, Pandora, CA Application Performance monitoring.
Experience working with ITIL process of incident/change and problem management skills.
Experience with Data virtualization tools such as Tibco data virtualization
Experience with troubleshooting DB accessibility issues.
Strong understanding of multi-tier applications. Emphasis on web tier
Work on scheduling tools and able to identify issues with dependent chain.
Able to work with vendors on support cases and follow up regularly till resolution is found.
Preferred/ Recommended Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Document system process flows and write test scripts for system testing.
Ability to troubleshoot effectively through multi-tiered application stacks
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Testing in support of projects and creation of project artifacts as required by
project life cycle.
Support projects per SDLC procedure
Perform analysis based on business requirement, design, develop, test and implement changes to Oracle Application and related interfaces.
