Responsibilities:

Celanese believes in developing future leaders by creating roles and experiences that will allow you to gain depth of knowledge that will enable you to lead complex teams.  Within our MBA program you will have the opportunity to work and learn in Investor Relations, M&A, and Treasury, for a truly rounded experience. 

Mergers and Acquisitions

This role is responsible for performing financial analysis on potential M&A transactions. Financial analysis includes assessment of historical and future growth prospects, synergy evaluation, impact to P&L, cash flow and balance sheet and succinctly summarizing the analysis into leadership presentations. This role would also support analytics around key internal organic strategic projects and assessment of overall portfolio of businesses

Investor Relations

This role will be a combination of working directly with investors and stakeholders but also serve a supportive capacity. This could include responding to investor requests, helping create quarterly and annual reports, preparing internal and external presentations, analyzing internal and external data and keeping up to date on regulations on capital market trends

Treasury

Responsible for performing a variety of tasks supporting Treasury functions in capital markets, corporate finance, hedging, pensions & investments, insurance and operations. The role will also support company growth by building efficiencies, improving Treasury processes, and working cross-functionally with legal, accounting, tax, and external banking partners.  

Qualifications:

Successful applicants need to have the following qualifications:

MBA with a Finance concentration
Graduation date December 2021 or May 2022
GPA 3.0 or higher
Able to work in the U.S. with no restrictions (OPT H1b, TN visa currently not supported)
Microsoft suite proficiency used to present findings and opportunities to leaders- word, PowerPoint and excel
Attention to detail- verbal and written skills used to communicate effectively with leadership, team members and external parties
Positive attitude and possess learning agility
Proven success working in a collaborative team environment
Flexible and adaptable to changing schedules and work assignments
