Job Summary:
Co-op will work directly with Transition Managers and assist with Transition Group operations and projects. Forming a bridge between sales and operations, the Transition Group assesses clients' facility related needs by examining clients’ current equipment, processes, and service providers. The Transition Group then builds, staffs, and sources all necessary components of the maintenance program to reduce our client's operating costs while improving the management and value of their facility spend. Co-op will perform duties as described in support of facilities management and continuous improvement projects while working with client, sales, procurement, and operations team members. Co-op should expect and be able to work in settings ranging from offices to industrial plants. Co-op should be prepared to travel in support of projects for clients throughout the US.

Completing Work-in-Progress Reports on Current Projects
Cost and Labor Data Analysis
Preventative Maintenance Specification Research and Writing
Specialized Work Order Coding
Creation of Facility Maintenance Work Orders
Labor and Material Cost Projections/Budgeting
Identifying and Documenting Clients’ Facility Equipment and Services
Creation of written or electronic Purchase Orders
Electronic Document/Record Management
Preparation of Presentation to Functional and Cross-Functional Teams
Co-op will participate in and receive experience and training in the following:

Take part in weekly feedback sessions, monthly formal assessment sessions, and a final performance review
Compile and present a 30 min. recap slide set at the end of the term to the Senior Transition Team detailing all areas of learning and experiences
Qualifications:
Degree Student from an accredited college or technical trade school or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience
Must possess a valid driver's license
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write specifications, tasking and project schedules and compile fixed and variable budgets. Communication and people skills are required, including the ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Skills of proofreading, review and checking documents and drawings for accuracy are required
