The Risk Rating Group (RRG) provides Enterprise Credit Risk (ECR) oversight of several processes impacting all commercial businesses: scorecard development, risk rating, default validation and wholesale capital model development.
The Risk Analysis Sr. Manager is a lead contributor to these processes with the following responsibilities:

Leading reporting and analytical efforts to deepen understanding of risk ratings, commercial default data and connection to wholesale capital model, with regular opportunities for interacting with Senior Management across the enterprise
Executing ECR oversight role over the wholesale capital model development, working alongside the GRA modeling team
Providing data analytics support, such as economic scenarios impacts on risk ratings and enterprise impact assessments of risk rating changes
Leading default data governance process
Supporting and governing the LOB use of Point in Time risk ratings, including LOB communication and data analysis
Identifying and resolving data or process issues

Required Skills

Highly organized, self-starter, creative thinker with strong analytical skills
Must have 7-10 years of financial industry experience across different lines of business and products
Bachelor's Degree required or 7-10 years of equivalent experience in a data science/analytics role
Experience with Business Intelligence tools (i.e., Tableau) and extract/load/transform (ELT) tools (i.e., Alteryx)
Experience with Wholesale Credit or credit risk data and systems
Ability to access, query and analyze relational data through proven experience writing and executing SAS or SQL (e.g., Teradata, Oracle, Hadoop, and SQL Server)
Strong knowledge of data management or governance fundamentals and in-depth experience implementing data solutions aligned to business strategies/problems
Proven ability to work with a diverse group of business partners spanning multiple lines of business/functional areas (e.g., Model Risk Management, Global Risk Analytics, Wholesale Credit, and Technology)
Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks to meet tight deadlines, high attention to detail

Strong communication/presentation skills – ability to communicate vertically and horizontally within the organization
Familiarity with credit underwriting process and regulatory concepts around bank capital and banking finance
Demonstrates proficient quantitative and analytics skills
