Job Overview
The Senior IT Auditor role is part of the Global Internal Audit (GIA) team of Booking Holdings. This role will focus on planning and executing SOX, IT operational, governance, and compliance-related audits at Booking Holdings and its Brands. This role will also partake in audits related to privacy and cybersecurity. This position will report to the Director of Internal Audit in Norwalk, CT at the Booking Holdings headquarters and involves occasional travel (up to 15%).

Responsibilities and Duties
Plans and executes IT operational & SOX control with a focus on USA Brands of Booking Holdings.
Coordinates with stakeholders such as Business Control Owners, Risk & Compliance, Tech department, External Auditors, and others.
Assists in conducting risk assessments and identifies controls in place to mitigate identified risks.
Documents the results of audit work in accordance with the standards of the internal audit department and the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).
Prepares audit reports for senior management and other key stakeholders.
Provides advice on internal control matters for Booking Holdings and its Brands.
Supports the continuous improvement of the internal audit function.

Required
Excellent knowledge of risk-based auditing of various IT environments and business operations attained through a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience working in a Big 4 accounting firm and/or Internal Audit function at a listed company.
Strong skills in negotiating, relationship building, problem-solving, and timely problem escalation.
Skills
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree.
CISA / CPA or equivalent designation highly desirable.
Big 4 Experience is highly desirable.
Proficiency in MS Office and/or G Suite
Experience with SAP auditing is highly desirable.
Experience with data analytics software is desirable.
Strong analytical skills (experience with audit analytics is a plus).
Excellent audit report writing and oral communication skills (proficiency in English).
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Detail-oriented but able to quickly grasp the bigger picture.
Maximum of 15% travel requirement globally based on the audit plan and project requirements.
