Finance Manager, Corporate Responsibility

Job Description

This position will report to the Vice President, Investor Relations, and will be responsible for budget preparation, reconciliation and tracking (including functional budgets across the organization), cost allocation, quarterly reporting, and grants management.

Responsibilities:

Create and manage complex data from across the business to track and report spending against 2030 CR Goals and philanthropic giving objectives
Develop annual budgets for our CR/ESG and philanthropic functions as well as develop and implement budgeting and forecasting systems leveraging enterprise digital transformation tools
Acquire, maintain and improve comprehensiveness of CR/ESG and philanthropic financial data content in a timely and accurate manner
Manage the preparations for quarterly corporate responsibility monitoring reviews and audits
Lead the preparation of annual nonprofit tax filings for the Baxter International Foundation and establish and maintain financial records for grant funded project to be used for annual tracking and reporting purposes
Manage the administration & processing of grant payments philanthropic giving platforms
Oversee and manage vendor relationships, payments and deliverables across both corporate and Foundation budgets
Develop and modify policies/procedures/systems in accordance with CR/ESG regulations and philanthropic giving needs and objectives
Prepare and/or review information and reports for internal and external stakeholders
Inspire and influence others to adopt and drive forward our CR/ESG financial tracking strategy across a decentralized organization to support our reporting and disclosure initiatives with complex business deliverables

Qualifications:

5-8+ years of financial experience; knowledge or experience supporting sustainability, social and/or environmental programs a plus
Bachelor’s degree required in finance; Master’s degree preferred
Proven financial analysis and reporting skills with strong data collection and data management skills, problem-solving and analytic skills
High-level proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software
Collaborative approach with strong ability to build relationships and work across a diverse and distributed team
Experience with implementing CR/ESG related technology platform(s) a plus
Detail oriented with excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
High level of integrity and commitment to professional responsibilities
Confidence operating in a fast-paced environment
