Job Overview:
The Senior IT Business Analyst (TBM) will possess a strong business, technology and financial management background. The TBM analyst will work closely with various leaders and departments at WestRock to effectively communicate the value of IT in an effort to best optimize our costs. The TBM analyst will maintain existing system solutions as well as configure new requirements according to our strategic roadmap.
Responsibilities and Duties
§ Own daily operations of maintaining Apptio tool and providing support to end users
§ Gather requirements to build standardized and customized reports, models, and dashboards
§ Understand ETL concept; import, transform, and rationalize data from various sources
§ Support monthly accounting close process; validate and publish monthly reports
§ Collaborate with IT leaders and Finance on IT Total Cost of Ownership, financial metrics, and cost transparency initiatives
§ Engage with the TBM office and various stakeholders within the IT organization to discuss and implement process and/or data changes identified as TBM roadmap items
§ Maintain runbook documentation associated with the Apptio platform and all associated WestRock processes that support it
§ Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
§ Degree in CIS, MIS, Finance or related field (or equivalent experiencing working in related field)
§ 5-7 years of experience working in Technology or Finance related area
§ Experience interacting with senior management
§ Strong independent contributor
§ Thorough knowledge of data modeling, data relationships and analyzing financials
§ Thorough knowledge of IT services and financial management processes
§ Certified Recognized TBMA or complete certification within first year in the role.
