Position Summary:

Park Avenue Securities strives to offer a comprehensive platform to support wealth management needs of Guardian policy holders and clients and to enable Field Representatives to serve as The Trusted Advisor to their clients. Through continued growth and creation of client and advisor solutions, we aim to help Field Representatives grow and diversify their practices, clients, and income streams. The PAS Senior Rearch ANalyst is an integral role for Park Avenue Securities overall growth strategy. 

You will:

Report to the Head of Research, Product and Sponsor Relations.
Take a lead role in conducting and overseeing the due diligence and Research process.
Develop an investment and investment communications process and strategy.
Conduct and or oversee due-diligence across product types include strategist, SMAs, Alternatives, mutual funds, variable annuities etc.
Work, along with the head of research, to develop investment strategies and investment recommendations designed to assist the firm’s financial advisors efficient manage client portfolios.
Support and manage product related functions and teams across Park Avenue.
Serve as point person for product due-diligence work across Park Avenue and the new RIA.
Maintain a process to monitor and reevaluate products across the Park Avenue and RIA platforms.
Report / present due-diligence findings to the Product and Due-diligence committee.
Help to coordinate the operational / administrative functions of the Product and Due-Diligence Committee.
Serve as a subject matter expert on all product types across the broker dealer and RIA.
Provide responses to annual internal and regulatory due-diligence requests.
Monitor and analyze product usage and trends across platforms.
Serve as product lead or subject matter expert for product related initiatives.
Serve as contact for Park Avenue and RIA compliance and regulatory teams.
Manage all product and due-diligence related documentation.

 Qualifications
 

You have:

Excellent analytical skills.
Strong investment product (manager, ETF, VA, alternatives etc.) knowledge.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience using analytics tools and data platforms to inform product decision-making.
Strong project management skills with the ability to administer multiple projects, prioritize workload and effectively manage resources.
Demonstrated proficiency making decisions using data, analytics and best practices to drive results.
Product due-diligence or product research experience.
A high level of personal initiative, setting and achieving challenging goals.
High level of integrity and professionalism.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
5 - 7year of relevant work experience.
Strong tech-skills including; Factset, Morningstar Direct, MS Office, Webex or Skype, proposal software, CRM, etc.
