About the role - you will:

Identify, Build and Test large-scale compute & storage architectures.
Design & Develop solutions to integrate networking, security, identity, monitoring solutions.
Deploy, monitor, and maintain reference architectures for on-prem data center and public cloud infrastructure while working closely with Engineering teams
Implement, document and provide best practices for various workloads, including but not limited to Enterprise Backups, Big Data, EDA, Analytics
Be hands on with end-to-end engineering, deployment, management, monitoring, and maintenance of compute & storage platforms to ensure optimum health and performance
Engage, collaborate, and communicate effectively with variety of stakeholders to deliver the services
Automate as many processes as possible, writing tools, scripts, etc as necessary
Fully understand the current infrastructure architecture and suggest new solutions

Your experience includes:

Experience leading large scale compute infrastructure with hands-on hardware knowledge of compute & storage technologies.
Experience and in-depth understanding of Compute, SAN, NAS & Object Storage technologies.
Experience with hybrid & cloud infrastructure: compute (hardware), storage & backup, Load Balancing, virtualization, HCI, AWS & Azure
Experience with patching, logging, monitoring, and automation to maintain the health and security of compute and storage systems
Expertise in Linux based distros, and solid understanding of backup and restore technologies, Big Data Platforms, Analytics.
Extensive experience with cloud native orchestration using Kubernetes and containerized applications using docker.
Extensive experience with Automation, CI/CD tools, maintaining & utilizing source code repositories. Leveraging standard API tools to automate large scale infrastructure build-out and provide visualization.
Experience with programming languages such as Python and Golang.
Able to schedule, prioritize and accomplish R&D related activities and communicate actions and results as needed.
Solid knowledge and understanding of Cloud Networking, Public Cloud security model.
Experience working in an Agile, fast-paced DevOps environment.
Architectural/Implementation/Operational leadership experience with large scale data center - 10,000+ servers
Technical Acumen – Pursues continuous learning and application of technologies to achieve desired business, architectural, and productivity outcomes.
Bachelor’s degree in Technology or equivalent education and 10+ years’ experience or Master’s degree in the same and 8+ years’ experience or equivalent education and experience
