Job Summary
AECOM is seeking a highly talented Marketing Proposal Specialist to join our East Region Marketing team. The Marketing Proposal Specialist will be a key member of our busy team responsible for leading preparation of winning proposals for various infrastructure projects for our Transportation business. The successful candidate can work a combination of work from home and work from out of any of the following AECOM offices: Boston, or Chelmsford MA; Providence, RI; or Rocky Hill, CT.
Job Summary/Responsibilities:
The Marketing Proposal Specialist must exhibit a high level of integrity and professionalism, and display excellent leadership, time-management, and communication skills (both oral and written.) Must be able to work effectively in rapidly changing environment with multiple deadlines.
Major Responsibilities:
Lead a variety of proposals and presentations from pre-RFP positioning through to interview stage, as required.
Provides leadership and direction for proposals, including compliance matrices, content planning, outlines/templates, proposal review and production schedules, and production.
Facilitate and lead proposal kick-off, status, and review meetings.
Write qualification-based sections of proposals including resumes, project descriptions, and other general information materials. Provides grammatical and technical editing to ensure quality.
Provides document design, while ensuring RFP instructions and internal brand guidelines pertaining to format, fonts, etc. are being followed.
Interface with BD and technical staff at all levels of the organization to win work. Assist in the development of capture planning, win themes, and differentiators.
Performs advanced assignments requiring independent decisions and resolves problems using an exceptional degree of ingenuity.
Under limited supervision or general direction, completed work is reviewed for desired results.
Use SalesForce CRM software.

Minimum Requirements
BA/BS, preferably in Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing or a related field
A minimum of two (2) years of experience collaborating within a regional marketing team to lead and/or support proposal activity with key client and strategic pursuits in support of winning work, or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience.
Preferred Qualifications
A minimum of five (5) years of experience collaborating within a regional marketing team to lead and/or support proposal activity with key client and strategic pursuits in support of winning work.
A developed understanding of effective proposal and presentation writing and production.
Working knowledge of and interest in the A/E industry, including AECOM’s projects, people, credentials, and competitors.
A detailed knowledge of marketing best practices and procedures, work processes, and tools.
A strong working knowledge of word processing programs (e.g., Microsoft Word), spreadsheet management (Excel), and presentation software (e.g., PowerPoint), as well as desktop publishing software and graphics programs (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Acrobat).
A working knowledge of collaborative tools such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, etc.
An understanding of Salesforce CRM experience is a plus.
Initiative, skill, and personal commitment to manage multiple projects and details concurrently, follow up, and bring tasks and projects to full completion.
Ability to produce accurate, compliant, and compelling work independently and with others.
Proven organizational and administrative skills, including the ability to complete varied work tasks on schedule, and lead deliverable efforts by others; and the proven ability to manage documents.
Experience demonstrating leadership qualities.
Experience with design-build and public-private-partnership (P3) proposals is a plus.
