This Summer Internship is: 

May-August, 12 weeks  
In Dallas, Texas at our Headquarters Building  
Full-time, 40hrs a week M-F during normal business hours  
Workplace flexibility depends on the Team – we expect the Intern’s schedule of onsite/remote work to mirror that of their Team. The majority of roles will allow for occasional remote work.  
Interns will receive any needed equipment, such as a laptop, for the internship as well as a living stipend and internet stipend paid out one time on your first paycheck (less applicable taxes). 

We set and execute the Leadership and Employee Development Strategy to support SWA U’s mission to democratize learning. 

The Intern will assist the Team with a?variety?of responsibilities, including, but not limited to:? 

Managing Program Participant experiences and communication  
Coordinate logistics for several Leadership Development Programs  
Aid in determining a measurement strategy for Leadership Development Programs  

Work with the Program Teams to define content, audience and scope of Programs  

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education required.? 

Must be at least 18 years of age.? 

Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986

Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by start date to comply with Executive Order 14042, which requires employees of federal contractors to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19

EDUCATION:

Progress toward a degree in Human Resources, Business, Communication, Training Development, Learning Technology, Organizational Development, or related field.  

To be eligible, must be currently enrolled as a full-time student at time of application (minimum of 12 credit hours)

Sophomores or Juniors preferred. Please include your graduation date on your resume.? 

Minimum of a 3.0 or above cumulative GPA? 

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Detail-oriented and organized  

Project Management  

Displays flexibility and is adaptable  

Works with limited supervision and is a self-starter  

Executive presence and strong communication skills

Highly Proficient in Excel, Powerpoint and Microsoft office  

Works well under pressure and in high-visibility environments
