Position Description
As part of the SAP Distribution Center Solutions Team, this position will partner with Specialty and RxC 3PL Supply Chain Organizations to provide Technology and Business Solutions for their Distribution Centers.
This position will also collaborate with internal McKesson Technology teams like Architecture, ATTP, Security, Order to Cash, and Finance. As well as with external providers like Carriers and Technology vendors.
The main technology to be supported is around Warehouse Management Systems and peripherical applications to facilitate Inventory Management, Transportation Management Systems, Automation, and Optimization of Distribution Centers.
Key Responsibilities
Liaison between Technical teams and Distribution Center Business users for the development and enhancements of initiatives for the Warehouse Management, 3PL Integration, Transportation, and Labor Management Solutions.
Documents, Recommends, and Presents systems enhancements and alternatives to meet business requirements.
Drives Operational Excellence by providing production support to solutions in the Distribution Centers, by leading Root Cause Analysis of major incidents, and increasing systems availability and customer satisfaction. Be part of an on-call rotation schedule for after-hours support.
Works on Agile/Waterfall methodologies to Configure solutions in the space like SAP and related technologies as well as to test development/customizations in this area.
Collaborates with other McKesson Technology teams in initiatives where Distribution Center.
Minimum Requirements
Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience
Critical Skills
4+ years of Experience Implementing and Supporting solutions for Distribution Centers (Warehouse Inventory and Transportation Management) using SAP/JDA or other major ERP/WMS system.
Strong Business Analyst and communication skills working in a Distribution Center environment
Proficient configuring Warehouse Management solutions (like SAP/JDA) -Experience with DC Automation initiatives like Pick to Voice, Robots, etc -Work in Agile Development Methodology
Understanding of EDI technologies and idoc processing
Ability to Travel (<20%)
Additional Knowledge and Skills
SAP ECC and WMS configuration experience highly desired
Configuration of Parcel solutions from UPS/FedEx Experience with Jira, Service Now Six Sigma, and process improvement methodologies is a plus
