Job Description

As an intermediate or senior Systems Test Engineer (SDET) within Agent Services/Web Presence, you will play a key role in enabling and supporting the automated testing needed to be successful in our fast paced environment.  As the team's agile processes continue to grow, you will learn and support several applications that provide critical information to Progressive’s agent community.  You'll use C#, Selenium WebDriver and SpecFlow to create test suites in support of our applications and APIs.  You'll also work on our in-house tools for data and file validations.  You’ll receive exposure to understand and build upon the TAF (Test Automation Framework) as well as work with Cloud and Pipelines.  You'll have both project work and ongoing production support responsibilities which provide opportunities for growth and learning. You’ll also get a strong foundation in both testing and software.

Must-have qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or higher in an Information Technology discipline or related field of study (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS) and a minimum two years of related work experience designing, programming, testing and supporting software programs and applications.
Instead of a degree, four years related work experience described in the above bullet, or two years related work experience and the completion of a technical training program.

Preferred Skills

Knowledge & experience in .NET framework and C# programming language
Experience with testing tools (e.g. Selenium WebDriver, SpecFlow)
Experience with TAF (Test Automation Framework)
Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and Cloud automated testing are a plus.
Experience with TFS

Compensation 

$66,895 - $104,720/year depending on position level and experience 
Gainshare bonus up to 24%-30% (depending on position level) of your eligible earnings based on company performance
