Summary:

This role requires an eye for detail, passion for our culture and the ability to connect with and support our team members.  As our Onboarding Coordinator you ensure great experiences for all joiners and movers within our organization.  This individual needs to have proven ability to communicate effectively and work well under pressure.

Responsibilities:

Host US and Global New Hire Orientation:

Collaborate with global teams to include new joiners in onboarding events
Coordinate presenter times and logistics, manage materials
Regularly present prepared materials in front of large audiences with enthusiasm
Assist with continuous orientation improvements to improve the overall new hire experiences
Track candidates and new joiners during their pre-screening phase to assist with onboarding
Schedule, coordinate, and facilitate global training programs

Manage Onboarding Work Using Internal Systems:

Help with internal recruitment marketing (social media channels, data analysis)
Work within our HRIS system to review and interpret report data
Design, build, and launch SharePoint pages for internal employees
Design graphics using Canva for onboarding purposes
Assist with Aptiv Academy administration

Onboarding Administration Tasks:

Design, create, and manage onboarding materials to improve the onboarding process
Collect and track onboarding experiences and trends by sending out new hire surveys
Order, track, and send welcome kits for new employees

Must Haves (Basic Qualifications)

2 + years’ experience as an HR Coordinator
1+ years’ experience hosting orientation events
1+ years’ experience using Workday
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources
