The Team: We are searching for people that are passionate about sustainability and would like to join a project-focused, international team of like-minded people, driven to deliver excellence in managing the worlds’ most known Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA). Our department is project-focused and relies on our proprietary methodology and software to manage the corporate engagement and participation process.
The Impact: The CSA is S&P Global’s central tool to engage corporates to report on and improve their ESG performance. CSA results and collected data are used to power the diverse set of ESG products and services at S&P Global, ranging from indices like the world renown Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) to ESG Evaluation services at S&P Global Ratings. ESG focused investors need reliable and complete information on corporate ESG performance for their portfolio selection. CSA scores and data empower decision makers to identify ESG top performers and channel investments to support their ESG goals.

The successful candidates will be leading S&P Global’s engagement efforts in the US to expand corporate participation in the S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) in the US and Canada as well as South America.
Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $90.8k - $188.6k. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.

Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a market specific corporate engagement strategy to increase participation in the CSA
Establish and leverage strategic relationships and partnerships to conduct targeted outreach campaigns (workshops, webcasts, etc)
Maintain and develop a network of CSA “client” relationships at invited companies to understand their ESG needs and encourage their CSA participation
Support participating company’s use of the CSA portal to enable a smooth CSA process and ensure awareness of all available free tools and additional services
Act as liaison between companies and the CSA Research team to answer methodology and assessment related questions
Maintain awareness of market trends, review all available collateral and develop an understanding of their competitive situation and help management to promote the overall goals of the organization.
What We’re Looking For:
Your qualifications:
7+ years of work experience in the field of corporate sustainability (at a company or consultancy), ideally working on the CSA and/or other ESG ratings
Strong project management and organizational skills
Strong presentation and communication skills
Experience presenting a business case to senior leadership up to board level (external and internal)
A sound understanding of global sustainability reporting frameworks and trends
Strong analytical skills and an acute attention to detail
Batchelor’s degree
