Job Summary:

The GMP Operations Manager is primarily responsible for managing the cleaning of GMP facilities services in a (cGMP) environment.  Scope includes overseeing of GMP Supervisors and oversight of GMP Union Cleaners in the execution of activities associated with sanitization of controlled areas in accordance with internal procedures, protocols, and cGMP's.  Incumbent will oversee 4 to 9 staff.  Work schedule is Monday through Friday 2nd shift, generally 3pm to 11pm.  Occasional weekend or holidays support may be required. This is a full time, exempt position, bonus eligible.

Essential Duties:

Ensure client satisfaction with delivery of GMP cleaning services and provide a lead role in monitoring and insuring regulatory and statutory compliance
Develops excellent partnership with clients through trust, actions, and results
Provides oversight and guidance to the supervisorial staff
Must be able to perform cleaning activities
Responsible to train new supervisors
Attends Work Center Team meetings and represent the team
Responsible for overseeing required GMP documentations are properly and accurately maintained

Other Responsibilities Include:

Collaborate with Manufacturing, GMP Operations Manager, and Quality teams to manage schedules necessary to clean the GMP controlled environment and support areas to comply with GMP requirements
Understands and follows proper procedures with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and personal protective equipment (PPE)
Act as a backup to the Supervisors and GMP Cleaning Manager

Acts as role model for JLL by behaving consistently with cultural, ethical requirements and participating in company activities
Conduct periodic spot inspections on GMP cleaning operations to observe, evaluate and provides JLL’s Quality Compliance Manager copies of your findings
Performs other related duties as assigned

Physical Requirements and Working Environment:

No make-up, nail polish, and/or jewelry may be worn in the GMP process areas
Visual attention to manufacturing functions
Incumbent is subject to extended periods of standing, walking, pushing, pulling, bending, crouching, climbing, lifting of equipment and/or materials weighing up to 50 pounds
Significant time spent in cleanroom, fully gowned including head covering, facemask, gloves, plant shoes, safety glasses/goggles and/or face shield

Education and/or Experience:

Associate degree or equivalent work experience in engineering, science, business, or industry relevant experience in regulated production environments
Must have strong background in people management and supplier contract management
5+ years related work experience in GMP or regulated cleaning environment including at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
Skilled in business computer hardware and software applications
Excellent inter-personal skills, organization skills, and analytical ability
Excellent communication skills – oral and written, (bilingual a plus)
