Responsibilities:
Configure and support multiple CMTS platforms (Arris, Casa, Cisco).
Perform tasks of high complexity relating to the installation and service/troubleshooting (problem analysis), and configuration of various DOCSIS related equipment.
Develop network MOPs, project plans, task lists, procedures, and network diagram documentation necessary for the successful deployment.
Install and work safely around DC power plants.
Develop and Co-ordinate with system field staff all CMTS operations and changes of CMTS & DOCSIS devices
Communicate with other departments regarding technical problems and issues to ensure that they are addressed in a timely and complete manner.
Lead large projects assigned to you and fulfill all objectives laid out at goal setting.
Provide technical assessment of requirements and definition from conception through implementation.
Makes recommendations on systems enhancements for optimization.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
Technical school, equivalent college courses, or on the job experience.
Must possess capability to set priorities, establishes objectives and milestones, identifies and allocates resources appropriately.
Must be self-motivated. Is proactive and takes advantage of opportunities without being asked. Seeks opportunities for self-improvement.
Excellent presentation and communication skills with the ability to communicate to members of the leadership team.
Must demonstrate proven ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment.
SCTE DEP exam certification or equivalent.
Demonstrated knowledge of all ISP test equipment including Analog and QAM spectrum analyzers, optical time-domain reflectometer (OTDR), digital, etc.
Subject matter expert regarding high speed data/voice over internet protocol (HSD/VOIP) service-related equipment.
Ability to work flexible work hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required as well as 24 hours on-call standby when needed.
Clean and valid Driver's License with ability to travel to other work locations as necessary.
