This position is part of our Advanced Safety & User Experience segment.

Summary:

Our embedded engineers design, develop, and validate advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) to enhance vehicle safety. Studies show just a half a second more warning can mitigate or prevent 60 percent of accidents. In this role, youll be working with advanced driver assistance systems diagnostics, vehicle bus systems and various ADAS features that have the power to prevent accidents and save lives.

Responsibilities:

* Develop software for active safety production projects

* Design, code, and test real-time embedded systems

* Plan and coordinate software development activities with other global sites

* Analysis and review of stakeholders requirements.

* Design and development of Camera based interface for vision processors.

* Development of software components in Autosar to support processing of vision processor outputs.

* Responsible for Static Analysis, Unit Testing and Integration Testing of the SW on HW platform

* Responsible to understand AutoSar architecture and be able develop SW for AutoSar platform

* Coordinating with cross regional teams as needed to achieve project objectives

* ASPICE and FS Process compliance

Must Haves (Basic Qualifications):

* Bachelors degree in engineering discipline (electrical, systems, computer science, software, computer or related field of study)

* 5+ years of experience with embedded software

Nice to Haves (Preferred Qualifications):

* Masters degree in engineering discipline

* 8+ years of experience with embedded software

* Experience with Autonomous Driving Active Safety

* Experience with low level drivers - SPI, I2C, and/or Ethernet drivers

* Experience with ADAS Diagnostics and Vehicle bus systems

* Experience with ADAS features and Vision process Interfaces

* Experience with developing SW on Infineon/Freescale 16/32 bit microcontrollers

* Experience with vehicle protocols - CAN, LIN, Flex Ray, Ethernet

* Familiarity with Automotive SPICE
