As the Facilities Spcecialist, you will manage assigned facility processes and supports general Facilities and Office Services operations, Facilities’ Supervisors, and Facilities and Security Project Managers.
Specifically, you’ll have the opportunity to:
Manages vendors and contracts for services and materials and for multi-business unit and multi-jurisdictional activities such as waste disposal, utilities, rental uniform and mat vendors, US Postal Service, FedEx, etc.
Provides oversight for capital / O&M spend and budget preparation and tracking across multi-jurisdictional areas.
Partners with Business Unit (Financial) Analyst, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Operations Support to coordinate and provide solutions with multi-department and multi-jurisdictional vendors, contracts, and invoices.
Manages the relationships with CenterPoint Energy properties leased (and subleased) to tenants and offices leased by CenterPoint Energy Corporate.
Develops and implements practices and procedures that promote and protect health, safety, security, and the quality of work life, the environment and organizational effectiveness.
Manages Facilities and Security contractor status via ISNetworld and associated safety and compliance reports.
Develops and administers various plans and communications for CenterPoint Energy facilities.
Manages the planning, budget estimates and execution of O & M and capital projects as assigned.
Oversees time entry and tracking activities.
Manages and administers Facility Management software, including system updating, reporting, dashboards, and activity distribution to supervisors and other management.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
Requires a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college, university.
Requires a minimum of three years of related experience in facility management, property management or a related field.
