Brief Description

WESCO is seeking to recruit an innovative and enthusiastic leader to build Talent Acquisition (TA) Operations and support the continued growth of our team and company. In this role, you will be responsible for all TA Operations functions and partner with the Senior Director, Talent Acquisition to develop strategies, policies and initiatives to help us create a world-class Talent Acquisition function. You will drive a holistic and forward-looking transformation through services, technology and partnerships to help the team deliver on sourcing and hiring of the highest quality, market reflective talent at scale.

By joining at a time when the company is in the late phases of an organization-wide HCM system implementation, the new leader will have the opportunity of leveraging new tools and capabilities across the organization; the system design is expected to set the stage for recruiters to focus on fostering long term, meaningful connections with candidates and hiring managers.

Detailed Description

·        Focus on developing next generation talent practices to attract and hire the best talent to help WESCO continue to be a trusted partner for its suppliers and customers.

·        Design highly effective talent acquisition processes and systems that lead to fast and efficient closure of requisitions with significant agency spend reduction.

·        Commitment to improving our talent diversity having experience with diversity recruitment, including internal programs to help drive diverse slates and remove unconscious bias.

·        Build dashboards and other analytical solutions to provide insight into hiring plans, progress to hiring goals, and all other TA operational metrics.

·        Help develop the WESCO employer brand and deploy associated marketing campaigns delivered through social media and the most impactful recruiting channels (e.g., LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.)

·        Provide guidance to our brand marketing teams and execute employment marketing plans to increase candidate flow.

·        Define, implement and measure the candidate experience to position WESCO as an employer of choice through the recruiting process.

·        Work with the HRIS team to design and deploy technology and other ancillary recruiting systems that are fully integrated with WESCO enterprise Oracle HCM.

·        Research, implement and manage partnerships with external vendors to enhance the abilities of our TA team

Job Requirements

Ideal Experience

·        A minimum of 7+ years’ experience building and leading a fast growth and dynamic talent acquisition function. Experience serving in a senior talent acquisition role, ideally within a multi-national business with global scale and complexity would be advantageous.

·        Ability to quickly establish credibility with senior stakeholders and hiring managers, understanding their needs and shaping innovating solutions whilst setting expectations as a true advisor and business partner.

·        Ability to personally lead and manage corporate recruiting infrastructure. Familiar with operational set up, tradeoffs and enhancements to systems.

·        Experience working with an organization that has been recognized for Diversity programs and progress.

·        Expertise in technical talent acquisition infrastructure (e.g., ATS, RPO/MSP contracts, etc.).

·        Excellent networking ability. Established relationships with independent recruiters, recruiting agencies, and talent acquisition technology vendors and other channels of recruitment partnerships.

·        Outstanding commercial acumen. Ability to assimilate business context and relate to TA strategy and plans. Robust decision-making and analytical skills. Strong command of financial, market and TA data with the ability to grasp complex and detailed issues.

·        Demonstrated success developing strategy, managing projects and leading through to execution and delivery. Consistent record of having met challenging financial and business targets.

·        Experience of leading change programs within a TA function and has led a team on a journey of cultural and transformational change.

·        A hands-on approach to all activities with real passion and high levels of energy. Agile and comfortable adapting to different environments.
