Job Description
The Multi Cloud Core Lead Engineer will work with the most important, foundational products in Multi Cloud including MC DB, MC Portal, MC API and Account Creator. We create cloud accounts for the many lines-of-business in SAP who are considered our customers. These customers expect lightning-fast end-to-end automation of their cloud accounts from creation to deletion. We are responsible for the metadata around these accounts including security, cost, governance as well as the lifecycle and automation related to this metadata. We sync data between IaaS providers, Information Steward, show back/chargeback systems, SISM and others as a central source of truth for. SAP's cloud infrastructure and SAP's 4+1, Cloud Account Lifecycle Management, Secure Cloud Delivery and Cloud9 initiatives.
How You Might Contribute
You will be able to go wherever is most needed to improve the overall Multi Cloud offering, interacting with a variety of languages and frameworks.
Implement improvements to our API, our UI and our backend systems
Review requests to help keep deliverables flowing to production with quality
Break down large, fuzzy requirements into manageable improvements that can be delivered in days rather than months
Help to constantly improve the codebase, the processes, and the quality
A Successful Candidate Should
Passionate about providing high quality solitions and support, driven, and a learning mindset
Bachelors in related field and or equivalent experience required, masters preferred
6+ years of relevant industry experience in software architecture
Python, Golang, TypeScript, Django, SQL, Docker, Kubernetes, GKE, Git, Hyperscaler APIs - AWS, GCP, Azure, Bazel
Multi Cloud (AWS, Azure, Alibaba Cloud, GCP) and SaaS experiences
Solid experience in leading teams / larger projects with the ability to work with, understand, and motivate people
Exceptional interpersonal skills: open-minded, team player, result oriented, motivated to work in an international and intercultural environment
Able to work in Palo Alto, CA or Bellevue, WA is preferred but virtual candidates in the US will also be considered. All candidates need to already reside in the US, Canada, or Mexico to be considered.
