Responsibilities
Provides quality, confidential, professional, and age specific nutritional care. Utilizes information regarding patients biological, psychological, cultural, spiritual, ethical and social needs in developing and implementing nutrition care plans. Possesses and applies knowledge of nutrition support.
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
• Bachelor of Science degree in food and nutrition or food service management or dietetics required.
Minimum Experience:
• 2 years’ experience in hospital setting or nursing home preferred
Required Certification/Registration:
• Registered Dietitian, (RD) with the Commission of Dietetic Registration thru Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics
