In this role, you will drive STU (Sales to Users) growth via the design of Integrated Services Offerings with a retail lens and development of a robust Go-to-Market plan. Additionally, you will partner with CISD Services Development & Sales Execution, Machine Business Divisions BCP (Building Construction Products), EMD (Earthmoving Division, EXD (Excavation Division), Component Product Groups, Cat Digital, Cat Financial and other key internal and external business partners to ensure that we provide relevant solutions for Retail Customers throughout the machine lifecycle.
Specifically, as the Retail Services Marketing & Development Consultant, you will:
Design Integrated Service Offers and develop Go-to-Market plan targeting Retail Customers in Americas-North in partnership with CISD Services Development, Machine Business Divisions (BCP, EMD, EXD), Component Product Groups, Cat Digital, Cat Financial and other key internal and external business partners to ensure that we provide relevant solutions for Retail Customers throughout the lifecycle.
Define CI Retail Customer Requirements and “Moments that Matter” leveraging on VOC (Voice of Customer)/ VOD (Voice of Dealer)/ VOB (Voice of Business) and data insights
Provide input towards types of VOC / VOD/ VOB needed to define CI retail customer requirements.
Understand the customer journey and identify “moments that matter”.
Design compelling Integrated Services Offerings to address unmet Retail Customer needs including concept validation.
Work with key partners to design Integrated Services Offerings relevant to CI retail customer needs.
Validate concepts to assess the desirability, feasibility, and viability of offerings.
Develop Go-To-Market centrally for Services offerings and Digital around the framework consisting definition of winning, execution plan & preparation, marcomm, training and governance.
Monitor the execution and results of offerings and gather input to understand success or the lack of for future iterations.
Provide guidance and coaching to team members
To be successful in this role, you need to bring (Basic Qualifications) :
A bachelor’s degree from and accredited college or university with at least 9 years of progressively responsible job-related experience.
A broad business background, specific aftermarket / retail knowledge and excellent communication skills.
Strong project leadership capabilities, organizational skills and influencing ability
Demonstrated ability to appropriately influence and resolve differences by effectively working with people, internally and externally, from many different backgrounds and cultures.
Demonstrated ability to develop a collaborative, cooperative work relationship with key partners.
